The Cabernet Sauvignon Global Masters, competition conducted by The Drinks Business, is the only competition that blind tastes based solely on variety, leaving origin and location out of the equation, judging by style and price.

This year’s event delivered excellent results to Santa Rita wines, with the panel of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and wine buyers tasting the diverse options of Santa Rita Cabernet Sauvignon’s.

Santa Rita received two Gold Medals: Casa Real Reserva Especial 2018 and Floresta Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, being also included by Editor Patrick Schmitt MW in its related article of the best 10 trends in Cabernet Sauvignon of the year: “…the wines have a new-found brightness – Floresta in particular – and a structure that suggests that cellaring will be rewarding; so keep your Casa Real.”, he wrote.
