Winemaker of Ultra Premium Santa Rita wines. Named Revelation Winemaker of 2020 by prestigious wine guide, Descorchados

A Chilean graduate of Viticulture and Winemaking from Lincoln University, New Zealand, he acquired vast experience at oceanic vineyards such as Tyrrell's Wines and Margrain Vineyard. He returned to Chile in 2005 to join the winemaking team in Viña Carmen and has been the Ultra Premium Winemaker of Santa Rita since 2017.

Teresita Ovalle

Assistant Winemaker of Santa Rita Ultra Premium wines.

A Chilean who grew up in an agricultural and winemaking family. She followed her passion, studying Viticulture and Winemaking in the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. With ample experience working in different European wineries such as Alberto Antonini, Le vins de Vienne and Paul Prieur. After returning to Chile she worked as the Assistant Winemaker at Viña Carmen. In early 2017, she was named Second Winemaker at Viña Santa Rita.

The park, the large Pompeian style manor house and the beautiful neo-Gothic style chapel designed by Theodore Burchard were declared Historic Monuments of Chile.

The Viña Santa Rita park has remained intact during 140 years of history, with the same sculptures, fountains, a man-made lagoon and numerous centuries-old trees.

This wonderful park is not only important for Viña Santa Rita. Its tradition and historical value led to it being declared a Historical Monument of Chile in 1972.

The centenary park was designed at the end of the 19th century by the prominent landscaper William Renner, combining classical English, Italian and French elements in its more than 40 hectares.

Centennial vegetation, large gardens, a Renaissance aura and corners filled with history make up the centenary park of Viña Santa Rita.
